Interlude marked Teodore Mata’s third and final runway show of 2022, closing the year with over 20 striking new looks from his latest collection. Held at Groundfloor in San Francisco, the event embodied Teo Mata’s continued evolution, blending timeless silhouettes with daring concepts, and introducing the label’s first ready-to-wear pieces.

The evening was defined by sophistication and intention. With a strictly enforced all-black formal dress code, guests arrived in elegant attire, contributing to the immersive and elevated environment that surrounded the show. The runway was framed by thoughtful stage design and accompanied by live music, enhancing the surrealist tone of the collection.

Interlude served not only as a milestone for the Teo Mata label, but as a reflective pause—a moment to honor past achievements while looking boldly toward the future. Building on the momentum of previous shows SCRAPS and BP2, this third act cemented Teo Mata’s reputation as a leading voice in San Francisco’s fashion scene.
