On January 10, Decentered Studio will become a bridge between continents as dancers in San Francisco and Barcelona meet for Gravitational Bond, a playful hybrid movement session co-facilitated by Kadir Uyanik and Paula Planas Melgar.

With Temi the robot roaming the floor as our cross-continental connector, participants will improvise, experiment, and exchange movement games with partners six thousand miles away. Kadir — a San Francisco-based movement artist known for weaving bodies, objects, and robots into surprising conversations — and Paula — a Barcelona-born contemporary dancer whose practice centers on joy, intuition, and human connection — will guide the group through shared exercises that spark curiosity and collective creativity.

Whether joining in person in SF, tuning in from Barcelona, or interacting through Temi, movers will step into a live portal where distance dissolves, playfulness leads, and collaboration stretches across two cities.

Tantra Slow Dating — Singles Meet, Couples Reconnect
January 18, 5–7 PM • Decentered Studio

On January 18th, Decentered Arts will host a warm, heart-opening evening where singles and couples step out of ordinary life and into deeper connection. Guided by relationship teachers Erwan and Alicia, this Tantra Slow Dating session will invite guests into gentle breathwork, grounding meditations, and fully-clothed sensual practices designed to awaken presence rather than pressure.

Singles will move through intentional exercises that spark genuine chemistry—no small talk, no rushing, just real relational energy. Couples will find space to soften back into each other, rebuilding play, intimacy, and emotional attunement.

The night will close with relaxed social time, a chance to mingle, ask questions, and stay connected within the community. Spaces are limited for this intimate experience.
