On December 6, 2025, Decentered Studio opened its doors for DIY Handmade Herbal Gifts for the Holidays and Winter, a cozy hands-on workshop led by herbalist and educator Crystal Marie Higgins.
Crystal guided participants through the heartwarming craft of kitchen herbalism, teaching how to create fragrant herbal salves infused with body oils, cacao and shea butters, and beeswax. She also led the group in blending personalized herbal teas designed to soothe stress, support digestion, and nourish the body through the winter season.
Guests mixed, melted, blended, and smelled their way through an afternoon of plant magic—leaving with a healing salve, a custom tea blend, and the recipes to recreate them at home or gift to loved ones.
Crystal’s classes emphasized accessible, ancestral herbal wisdom and the joy of reconnecting with plants as everyday allies. The workshop invited participants to slow down, craft with intention, and rediscover the simple healing power of herbs.
