Description
Decentered Studio hosted Paint & Groove on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM — an easygoing afternoon where painting met music and warm tea. The studio hummed with soulful tunes as people dropped into a short grounding exercise, picked up a brush, and followed a playful guided painting session designed for beginners and seasoned makers alike.
Vanessa Ramirez — a Bay Area self-taught painter known for vibrant acrylic abstractions — led the workshop, weaving brief prompts and gentle guidance so each participant could trust their instincts and find flow on canvas. Materials (canvas, brushes, paint) were provided; attendees relaxed, experimented, and shared quietly with others during integration time over herbal tea.
Guests came as they were, some bringing friends, and left with finished pieces and light, inspired hearts — a small creative reset before the holidays.
