Description
On the evening of January 15, Decentered Arts Studio transformed into a softly lit cosmos for SOULESTIAL: Galaxies Within , a binaural sound bath inviting deep rest, altered awareness, and inner exploration.
Guiding the journey was Kevin Njikam, also known as SOULESTIAL — a pioneering sound healer and live composer mentored by David Gibson (former Pink Floyd engineer and founder of The Globe Institute). Using a rare, innovative approach to live binaural brainwave entrainment, Kevin wove evolving soundscapes that gently guided the brain through alpha, theta, and other meditative states. No two journeys were ever the same, shaped moment by moment by the room and its collective energy.
Participants were invited to lie back, get cozy, and travel inward as looping tones, frequencies, and subtle rhythms unfolded like galaxies within the body and mind. Mats, blankets, and anything soft were welcomed. Tea and snacks were shared afterward, allowing time to land, integrate, and reconnect before returning to the world.
