Come join us for our April songwriting workshop!
What is music therapy, and how does it actually work? In this 1-hour introductory talk, board-certified music therapist Sophia Shu Wang will explore how music can be used therapeutically to support emotional expression, stress reduction, insight, and healing. Drawing from over a decade of clinical work and her training in Guided Imagery and Music (GIM), Sophia will offer an accessible introduction to the field and help attendees understand the difference between everyday music listening and music therapy with a trained professional. Ideal for anyone curious about music, consciousness, and mental health.
Theses events will take place 2nd and 4th Mondays at Decentered Studio.
