Alice Ava Lin

Alice Lin is a Taiwanese-American songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio. She performs as Alice Ava and was the drumming half of LA’s Eagle and Talon and Brooklyn’s Alice and Michi.

2025 is her year of respecting the subconscious. She’s trying to follow her dreams, which recently involved maneuvering her sedan onto an astroturf patio packed with diners, then losing her rice roll.

She finds joy in writing songs, finding missing objects for friends, and wandering the moors of El Cerrito. Her favorite thing this month was hearing her friend’s 8-year-old daughter shrug and say, “Suits myself.”
