Angelica Lamarca

Angelica La Marca is a writer of magical realism born and raised in the Bay Area. Her dual passions for third spaces and accessible literature are what lead her to her current occupation as a library clerk. In 2023 she graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she was awarded the Best Senior Creative Writing Prize of her graduating class in Literature. She is also an alum of local Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts, where she studied Creative Writing. When she's not working or writing, you can find her taking long walks around the city, attempting to pet every street cat she sees.
