Ava Maag

Ava Maag (they/she), though an incorrigible dabbler in many forms, is especially interested in intimate, movement-based performance that gropes through longing, confusion, and delight, sussing out what’s going on, seeking the magic in the mundane world. Ava prioritizes questions over answers. Improvisation activates her imagination, opens her heart, and points the way to the big Yes. Ava is heavily influenced by Contact Improvisation, Somatics, Modern dance, Clown, and Deep Listening.
