Ben Bernthal

Ben Bernthal studied poetry at Butler University in Indianapolis, and for the past eight years has led a project called Strangers’ Poems, in which he composes original poetry based on interactions with strangers who give him three words. In that time, he has written thousands of poems for people across 18 states and 5 countries. He currently lives in the Mission, where he designs immersive art activations and micropublishes handmade art objects that go beyond the book.
