Bertha Canthy

Bertha Canty is the oldest of 12 children, mother of two, and grandmother of one. Born in New Jersey, she moved to California 55 years ago. She retired from the State of California as a DMV field services representative. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening and sewing, both with patterns and without. She previously served as an elected member for Glenridge Cooperative Apartments for 23 years. She is currently a member of San Francisco Village, where Litquake offers a Monday workshop. She gave up her Mondays so she could be here tonight.
