At Decentered Arts, we loved nights that invited laughter, reflection, and a little glorious messiness. On January 23, 2026, our studio filled with exactly that as we hosted Past Your Prime Time Show, an evening of improv, clowning, and beautifully relevant absurdity.

The night unfolded through playful clowning by Carmen Aguilar y Wedge, audience-shaped chaos from Choose Your Own Comedy, and sharp, generous improv by The Past Our Prime Time Players—all celebrating being seen exactly as you are.

Anchoring the evening were performers like Emily Shenfield, whose path from teaching and software engineering to narrative-driven improv brought heart, curiosity, and collective joy to the stage, and Betsy Alma Ramazzini, a seasoned comedian, writer, and producer whose decade-long journey through Sacramento, Brooklyn, and the Bay Area shaped a voice rooted in empathy, wit, and honest absurdity.

Together, they transformed Decentered Studio into a space for big laughs, shared recognition, and the reminder that relevance wasn’t fixed—it was something we made together.
