Carolyn Bass

Carolyn Bass, a native San Franciscan, was class valedictorian of her high school and graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University. Carolyn retired from University of California San Francisco with over thirty years of service in HR, and was a graduate of the Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program. She’s co-authoring a book (she’s contributing a chapter) with Lisa Nichols, who is a motivational speaker, best-selling author, media personality, and corporate CEO. Carolyn creates vegan, no-salt, no-oil, no-sugar recipes (a.k.a. SOS-free). She enjoys health education, Qigong, and voice-over classes. Carolyn is a member of the Women’s National Book Association’s SF Chapter, and is involved in a women’s book club. She is passionate about her volunteer work as a Great Group Reads reader and with her neighborhood events committee. A favorite pastime of hers? Watching romance movies.
