Where community meets art

Chris Dillon

Chris Dillon is a fifth-generation San Franciscan whose formal education, from kindergarten to bachelor’s degree, occurred within 2.5 miles of home. She completed an English literature degree at San Francisco State in 1971, then volunteered with children at the Pomeroy Center. She was a bridal consultant at Liberty House at the City of Paris store until returning to SF State to study gerontology. Chris served elders as a residential care and skilled nursing hospital administrator, and is now the District 11 appointee to the city’s Disability and Aging Services Advisory Board. Chris has told her friend Dan Duggan that she will someday volunteer at his mortuary, so she can say she’s worked with providers covering the full spectrum of life.
