On an evening in late November the Phoenix Hotel hosted Poolside Poets.

Guests came dressed in their best "Be a Tree"

Think: mossy shawls and bark-toned coats, leaf crowns with thrifted jackets, branch-like necklaces, fern-print skirts with combat boots, root-colored knits layered over floral saris, twig braids and earthy face paint, stacked textures—mix & match: wool, linen, tweed, leather, lace, embroidery, thrifted prints, whatever felt like homegrown forest couture

Featured Poets: King David, Zoe Williams, Sara Saavedra, Anastasia DiFonzo, Matthew Constantine, Hadas Goshen, Xavi, Raven Mangiante, Infinite Chi

Featured Musician: King David (Spotify: <https://open.spotify.com/artist/2u8y4NFqcFt7NZ68zA7sw3?si=kwJPLUE_QFeuSzOJZDUkgQ> )
