On an evening in late November the Phoenix Hotel hosted Poolside Poets.

Guests came dressed in their best "Something Old, Something New"

Think: vintage velvet blazers paired with neon slips, tea dresses with combat boots, pearls under leather jackets, brooches with metallic sneakers, sequin blazers over tees, silk blouses with streetwear trainers, lace collars and futuristic shades, retro floral with modern cut-outs, tailored suits with bold color blocks, corsets over hoodies, thrifted blazers with high-top sneakers, crochet dresses with platform boots, midi skirts with graphic tees, prairie dresses with metallic clutches, gingham with leather—mix & match: velvet, silk, denim, leather, sequins, lace, neon, tweed, metallics, cotton, whatever fused the old and the new
