On an evening the Phoenix Hotel hosted Poolside Poets.

Guests came dressed in their best "Metallics"

Think: glinting lamé jackets, tin-foil crowns, layered chains, chainmail chokers, bronze corsets, silver slip dresses, mirrored sunglasses, metallic boots, rusted-steampunk accents, sequin blazers, foil ties, copper cuffs, chrome trench coats, space-age vinyl, tinsel hair, gladiator sandals with metallic straps, metallic fishnets, mirrored belts, thrifted armor pieces, DIY tin-foil folly — mix & match: lamé, foil, chainmail, leather, sequins, mesh, denim, silk, whatever reflected the light
