Envision: Sound Bath & Paint Experience

On Wednesday evening, January 7, 2026, we opened the doors of Decentered Studio to Envision: Sound Bath & Paint Experience, a gentle, intentional way to begin the new year—held in our space and guided by two beautiful facilitators, Michael and Thalia.

We loved hosting an experience that invited people to slow down, listen inward, and create from a place beyond words. The night unfolded just that way. Michael began by leading a grounding sound bath meditation, filling the studio with soothing vibrations that calmed the nervous system and opened space for reflection and clarity. As the room settled into stillness, participants rested, breathed, and connected with the visions they wanted to carry into the year ahead.

From there, Thalia gently guided the transition back into the body with light movement before leading an intuitive painting session. This wasn’t about technique or “getting it right,” but about translating inner images, emotions, and intentions onto the canvas. Each painting became a personal artifact of the journey—something felt, not forced.

All materials were provided, no prior art experience was needed, and our shoes-off studio was set up to feel cozy, safe, and welcoming. We were grateful to host this facilitator-led experience in our space and to witness how sound, movement, and art came together to support reflection, release, and creative flow.
