Jessica O'Brien

Jessica O’Brien is a writer and painter. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts and has published several chapbooks of poems and art. Jess’s poetry evokes both enmeshment and estrangement by combining objects of childlike comfort with the ill and uncanny. Tonight, however, she has a different flavor of writing in the form of a short story excerpt.
